Enoshima Marina

The marina Enoshima (Enoshima Yacht Harbor, Japanese. 江の島ヨットハーバー Enoshima yotto HABA ) is a marina on the peninsula in the Sagami Bay in Japan .

The marina was the first of Japan to be built for sailing competitions and is still one of the largest marinas in the country today.

At the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, it was the venue for the sailing competitions . Other major sailing events followed, such as the Norway Friendship Yacht Race Cup , and national championships. A world championship in the 505 class was also held here.

The sailing competitions are to take place here again at the 2020 Summer Games .
