Summer Olympics 2020 (soft and baseball)

The Fukushima Azuma Baseball Stadium ( English ; Japanese 福島 県 営 あ づ ま 球場 Fukushima ken 'ei Azuma kyūjō , German ' prefectural Azuma baseball stadium Fukushima ' ) is a stadium in the city ​​of Fukushima , Japan . It is mainly used for baseball games and is part of the sports complex Azuma Sports Park (Japanese あ づ ま 総 合 運動 公園 Azuma sōgō undō kōen ). It was opened in 1986 and has a capacity of 30,000 seats.

The opening games of the softball and baseball tournaments will take place here during the 2020 Summer Olympics . The aim is to contribute to the economic revitalization of the region.
