Sports

Yokohama Stadium is the home ground of the Yokohama DeNA BayStars baseball team and offers 30,000 spectators the opportunity to watch the games. The softball and baseball tournaments are to take place here during the 2020 Summer Olympics .

Concerts

On August 2, 1981, Carlos Santana and Masayoshi Takanaka performed at Yokohama Stadium . During his debut tour, the Bad World Tour , Michael Jackson gave five concerts in 1987, all of which were sold out with 48,000 visitors each.

Even Tina Turner held a total of four times in the stadium, the first time in 1988 as part of their break every rule Tour.
