Izu Mountain Bike Course

The Izu Mountain Bike Course , or Izu MTB Course for short , is a sports facility for mountain bike competitions in Izu (Shizuoka) , Japan . It is one of the competition venues for the 2020 Summer Olympics .

The Izu Mountain Bike Course was opened in 2010, it is 2500 m long and has height differences of up to 85 m. It offers routes for beginners and advanced. The Japanese Mountain Bike Championships in 2013 and 2014 were also held on the course, with a view of Mount Fuji . A race to test the track is to take place in October 2019.
