Aljaksandra Sasnovich ( Belarusian Аляксандра Сасновіч ; English spelling Aliaksandra Sasnovich; born March 22, 1994 in Minsk ) is a Belarusian tennis player .
Career
Sasnowitsch mainly plays ITF tournaments. She has won eleven singles and seven doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit so far .
With a victory over Sofia Arvidsson , she also won the tournament in Poitiers, which is endowed with 100,000 US dollars . Between October 5 and November 4, 2013, she improved in the WTA rankings by 102 places and since the beginning of 2013 by 400 places. At the US Open she qualified for the first time in 2014 for the main draw of a Grand Slam tournament ; in the first round she then defeated Anna Karolína Schmiedlová before she was clearly defeated in two sets by the later finalist Caroline Wozniacki .
In April 2012, Sasnowitsch competed in Yverdon-les-Bains against Switzerland for the first time for Belarus in the Fed Cup ; In the meantime, she was able to record 20 wins in 33 games in this team competition.
