Polina Alexejewna Leikina ( Russian Полина Алексеевна Лейкина , English Polina Leykina ; born September 20, 1994 in Moscow ) is a Russian tennis player .

Career

Leikina, who loved to play on hard courts, began playing tennis at the age of seven.

She has won nine singles and 15 doubles titles in the ITF Women's Circuit during her career to date . On the WTA Tour she was first seen in the main field at the Grand Prix SAR La Princesse Lalla Meryem 2016 , together with Julija Putinzewa in doubles. They lost their first round game against Marina Melnikowa / Amra Sadikovic 5: 7 and 3: 6.
