Amandine Hesse (born January 16, 1993 in Montauban ) is a French tennis player .
Career
Hesse started playing tennis at the age of five and prefers hard courts. She has won four singles and six doubles titles at ITF Women's World Tennis Tour tournaments .
In 2008 and 2014 in doubles and 2012 in mixed , she took part in the French Open with a wildcard , but was eliminated in the first round. In 2014, she entered the main draw of the individual competition at the French Open and the US Open , but lost again in round one. In 2015 she defeated Jarmila Gajdošová in the first round of the French Open before she was eliminated by Samantha Stosur .
In 2016, she achieved her best placements in the world rankings with positions 154 in singles and 108 in doubles .
In 2017 Hesse played for the French Fed Cup team for the first time ; their Fed Cup record so far shows 3 wins for 1 loss.
