Victoria Rodríguez (born April 22, 1995 in Victoria de Durango , Durango ) is a Mexican tennis player .

Career

Rodríguez, who started playing tennis at the age of six , prefers the hard court. She mainly plays on the ITF Women's World Tennis Tour , on which she has won eight tournaments in singles and 19 in doubles.

On the WTA Tour in 2013 she reached the quarter-finals in doubles with her partner Marcela Zacarías at the Abierto Mexicano Telcel with a wildcard . The following year, the two were eliminated from the same tournament in the first round, as well as at the Monterrey Open . In 2015, the two failed again in the first round at Abierto Mexicano Telcel as well as at Abierto Monterrey Afirme .

She achieved her best world ranking positions in singles in November 2015 with rank 216 and in doubles in June 2018 with rank 113 after winning the WTA-Challenger L&T Mumbai Open 2017 with her partner Bibiane Schoofs .

She has been playing for the Mexican Fed Cup team since 2014 , for which she has so far contributed five wins and seven losses.
