The tournament took place from March 31 to April 6, 2014, and the Family Circle Cup , which was part of the premier category , was also held in Charleston .

Defending champion in singles was Anastassija Pavlyuchenkova , in doubles the duo Tímea Babos / Kimiko Date Krumm .

qualification

Qualification for the Monterrey Open 2014 took place from March 29th to 31st, 2014. Four qualifying places will be played which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
