The 2014 Family Circle Cup is a clay court tennis tournament for women in Charleston . As a premier category tournament, it is part of the 2014 WTA Tour . The tournament will take place from March 31 to April 6, 2014 at the same time as the 2014 Monterrey Open .

The defending champion is Serena Williams in singles and Kristina Mladenovic / Lucie Šafářová in doubles .

qualification

Qualification for the Family Circle Cup 2014 took place on March 29th and 30th, 2014. Eight qualifying places were played that entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
