The Citi Open 2014 was a women's tennis tournament of the WTA Tour 2014 in Washington DC. The hard court tournament in the International category took place from July 26th to August 3rd, 2014.

Last year's tournament winner in the singles was Magdaléna Rybáriková , who defended her title with a final victory against Andrea Petković . In doubles, Shūko Aoyama and Wera Duschewina had prevailed the year before ; This time Aoyama formed a successful pairing with the Canadian Gabriela Dabrowski .
