Irina Alejandra Falconi (born May 4, 1990 in Portoviejo , Ecuador ) is an American tennis player .

Career

Falconi, whose favorite surface is the hard court according to the ITF, began tennis with the support of her father at the age of four. In 2010 she became a professional player.

She competed in tournaments of the ITF Women's Circuit from summer 2006 . So far she has won five singles titles there and a double title each alongside Ashley Weinhold , Nicole Melichar and Petra Martić .

In April 2016 she won her first title on the WTA Tour in Bogotá .

Falconi played her last professional tournament in Chicago in September 2018 and has not been in the world rankings since August 12, 2019.
