The Bank of the West Classic 2014 was a WTA Tour tennis tournament that took place in Stanford from July 26th to August 3rd, 2014 . It took place parallel to the Washington WTA tournament .

The defending champions were Dominika Cibulková in singles and the pairing Raquel Kops-Jones / Abigail Spears in doubles.

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 28 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The four top seeded players in the singles each received a bye in round one.

Qualification for the Bank of the West Classic 2014 took place from July 26-27, 2014. Four qualifying places were played out for the individual, which entitle them to participate in the main field of the tournament.
