The Bank of the West Classic 2015 was a women's tennis tournament from the 2015 WTA Tour . The hard court tournament was held in Stanford from August 3 to 9, 2015 , parallel to the WTA tournament in Washington .

The defending champions were Serena Williams in singles and the pairing Garbiñe Muguruza / Carla Suárez Navarro in doubles.

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 28 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The four top seeded players in the singles each received a bye in round one.
