The Prudential Hong Kong Tennis Open 2014 was a women's tennis tournament in Hong Kong as part of the 2014 WTA Tour . The hard court tournament in the International category took place from September 6 to 14, 2014 at the same time as the Coupe Banque Nationale 2014 in Québec and the Tashkent Open 2014 . It was the first time since 1993 that another WTA tournament was held in Hong Kong.
