The 2014 Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships were a premier category women's tennis tournament with a total prize pool of $ 2,000,000. They took place in Dubai from February 17th to 22nd, 2014 . In the same week, the Rio Open 2014 took place in Rio de Janeiro , which belonged to the International category.

The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships were played on hard courts. In the singles 28 players started, the four top seeded players received a bye in the first round. 16 couples started in doubles.

The defending champion in singles was Petra Kvitová , in doubles the duo Bethanie Mattek-Sands / Sania Mirza .

The qualification for the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships 2014 took place from February 15th to 16th, 2014. Four qualifying places were played in three rounds, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
