The Barclays Dubai Tennis Championships 2009 is a hard court tennis tournament for women in Dubai . It was part of the WTA Tour as a Premier 5 category tournament . The tournament took place from February 15-21, 2009.

The singles final was played by Venus Williams and Virginie Razzano , which Williams won in straight sets. In doubles, the pairing Cara Black and Liezel Huber won in straight sets against Marija Kirilenko and Agnieszka Radwańska .
