The Generali Ladies Linz 2009 was the 19th edition of the indoor hard court tennis tournament for women in Linz , Austria . It was part of the WTA Tour 2009 as a tournament in the International category . It took place at the same time as the HP Japan Women's Open Tennis 2009 in Osaka , Japan from October 12th to 18th, 2009.

The defending champion was Ana Ivanović in singles and Katarina Srebotnik and Ai Sugiyama in doubles .

In the singles, Yanina Wickmayer won against Petra Kvitová 6: 3, 6: 4 and in the doubles Anna-Lena Grönefeld / Katarina Srebotnik against Klaudia Jans / Alicja Rosolska 6: 1, 6: 4.
