Defending champion in singles was Nadja Petrowa and in doubles Marija Kirilenko and Nadja Petrowa . The winner in the women's singles was Jelena Janković , who defeated Dinara Safina 6: 4, 6: 2. In women's doubles, the pairing Cara Black / Liezel Huber won against the Spanish doubles Nuria Llagostera Vives / María José Martínez Sánchez 6: 3, 0: 6, 6: 2.
