The ECM Prague Open 2009 was the 11th edition of the tennis clay court tournament for women in Prague . It was part of the WTA Tour 2009 as a tournament in the International category . The tournament took place together with the Internazionali Femminili di Tennis di Palermo from July 11th to 19th, 2009.

Defending champion in singles was Wera Swonarjowa and in doubles Andrea Hlaváčková and Lucie Hradecká .

In the singles Sybille Bammer won against Francesca Schiavone 7: 6 4 , 6: 2 and in the doubles Aljona Bondarenko / Kateryna Bondarenko against Iveta Benešová / Barbora Záhlavová-Strýcová 6: 1, 6: 2.
