The Challenge Bell 2009 was the 17th edition of the women's tennis tournament in Québec , Canada . The indoor tournament (carpet) in the International category was part of the WTA Tour 2009 and took place parallel to the Guangzhou International Women's Open in China from September 14th to 20th, 2009.

The defending champions were Nadja Petrowa in singles and the pairing Anna-Lena Grönefeld / Vania King in doubles.

Melinda Czink won the individual final against Lucie Šafářová 4: 6, 6: 3, 7: 5; in doubles, Vania King and Barbora Záhlavová-Strýcová prevailed in the final against the pairing Sofia Arvidsson / Séverine Brémond 6-1 and 6-3.
