Stéphanie Dubois (born October 31, 1986 in Laval , Québec ) is a former Canadian tennis player .

Career

She won a total of ten singles tournaments and eight doubles with alternating partners on the ITF Women's Circuit . She celebrated her greatest sporting success in 2008 when she reached the round of 16 at her home tournament, the Rogers Cup in Montreal , where she lost straight to Jelena Janković in straight sets. Her best result in a Grand Slam tournament she achieved in 2009 at the US Open when she moved into the second round, in which she lost 4: 6 in the third set to Sorana Cîrstea . In 2011 at Wimbledon and 2012 at the Australian Open , she was also in the second round.

In her 33 Fed Cup games for Canada between 2004 and 2013, she celebrated 23 wins, twelve of them in singles.
