Valérie Tétreault (born January 21, 1988 in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu , Québec ) is a former Canadian tennis player .

Career

Valérie Tétreault, who preferred hard courts, began playing tennis at the age of eight. She has won three individual titles in ITF tournaments in the course of her career .

She was used once for the Canadian Fed Cup team . In April 2010 she contributed to the smooth 5-0 victory over Argentina with two individual successes.

On December 9, 2010, she announced her resignation from professional tennis with immediate effect.
