In the singles Svetlana Kuznetsova won against Dinara Safina 6: 4 and 6: 3. In doubles, the pairing Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Najda Petrowa won 5: 7, 6: 3 and 10: 7 against Gisela Dulko and Flavia Pennetta .
