Vanessa Henke (born January 15, 1981 ) is a former German tennis player .

Career

In her professional career, Henke won six singles and ten doubles titles at ITF tournaments. In addition, she was twice in the final of a WTA tournament, in 2001 in Vienna and in 2008 in Budapest .

She only appeared for the German Fed Cup team , in 2003 in a 3-2 win over Indonesia . On the side of Angelika Roesch , she lost the double with 2: 6, 2: 6 against the pairing Wynne Prakusya / Angelique Widjaja .

In the German tennis Bundesliga she played in 2010 and 2011 for the TC Blau-Weiss Bocholt in the first division and in 2012 for the Rochusclub Düsseldorf in the second division .

Henke played her last professional match in June 2012 at an ITF tournament in Cologne, where she once again reached a semi-final. It has not been listed in the world rankings since 2013 .
