The Generali Ladies Linz 2012 was a women's tennis tournament in Linz . The international hard court tournament was part of the WTA Tour 2012 and took place at the same time as the HP Japan Women's Open Tennis 2012 in Osaka from October 8th to 14th.

The defending champions were Petra Kvitová in singles and the pairing Marina Eraković / Jelena Wesnina in doubles. The winner in the individual was the top seeded world number one Wiktoryja Asaranka , who beat Julia Görges 6: 3, 6: 4 in the final . In doubles, the pairing Anna-Lena Grönefeld / Květa Peschke won the final against Julia Görges / Barbora Záhlavová-Strýcová also 6: 3 and 6: 4.
