In singles, Perwak, who prefers hard courts, won a title on the WTA Tour and nine tournaments on the ITF Women's Circuit . She was also successful in doubles at three ITF tournaments with various partners . In 2009, at the age of 17, she won the Australian Open junior tournament . In the final, she defeated Laura Robson 6: 3 and 6: 1.
She achieved her greatest success in 2011 when she made it into the round of 16 of the Wimbledon Championships , in which she was defeated by Austrian Tamira Paszek in three sets. In 2012, she had to give up her first round match against Carla Suárez Navarro at the US Open when the score was 7: 5, 1: 2. In the first half of 2013 Perwak played four games (singles only) for the Kazakh Fed Cup team , of which they won three.
On November 5, 2015, she announced her resignation due to persistent injuries.
After almost ten months, she returned to the tour at the ITF tournament in Saint Petersburg . After her failure to qualify for the Australian Open in January 2017, she did not start again.
