The Internationaux de Strasbourg 2012 was a women's tennis tournament of the WTA Tour 2012 in Strasbourg ( France ). The tournament lasted from May 21st to May 26th 2012. The WTA Strasbourg is an international category tournament and is played on clay. The Open de Bruxelles 2012 (WTA Premier category) took place at the same time as the Strasbourg tournament . In addition, the qualifications for the French Open 2012 began on May 23 .

The tournament was won by Francesca Schiavone from Italy . Last year Andrea Petković won , who was unable to participate this year due to injury. The field of participants consisted of 32 players. From the German-speaking countries took Sabine Lisicki , Mona Barthel and Tamira Paszek part.

Wolha Hawarzowa and Klaudia Jans-Ignacik prevailed in doubles .
