The Tashkent Open 2012 was the 14th edition of the women's tennis tournament in the Uzbek city ​​of Tashkent . The hard court tournament in the International category was part of the WTA Tour 2014 and took place from September 10th to 15th, 2012.

The defending champions were Xenia Perwak , who had defeated Eva Birnerová in two sets the year before , and Eleni Daniilidou / Witalija Djatschenko in doubles , who beat Lyudmyla Kitschenok and Nadija Kitschenok in two sets in 2011 .

Romanian Irina-Camelia Begu secured the tournament victory in the individual 6: 4, 6: 4 against Croatian Donna Vekić , who had reached the final as a qualifier. The unseed pairing Paula Kania / Polina Pechowa won the doubles title .
