The BGL Luxembourg Open 2012 was a women's tennis tournament of the WTA Tour 2012 in Luxembourg . The indoor hard court tournament in the International category took place from October 15 to 21, 2012 parallel to the Kremlin Cup in Moscow . The main sponsor was the Luxembourg bank BGL BNP Paribas .

The defending champions were Wiktoryja Asaranka in singles and the pairing Iveta Benešová and Barbora Záhlavová-Strýcová in doubles. The winner in the individual was Venus Williams , who defeated Monica Niculescu 6: 2, 6: 3 in the final . The pairing Andrea Hlaváčková / Lucie Hradecká secured the title in doubles with a 6: 3, 6: 4 victory in the final against Irina-Camelia Begu and Monica Niculescu.
