Barclays Dubai Tennis Championships 2009
The Barclays Dubai Tennis Championships 2009 were a tennis tournament of the WTA Tour 2009 for women and a tennis tournament of the ATP World Tour 2009 for men in Dubai . The WTA women's tournament took place from February 16-22, 2009, the ATP men's tournament from February 23-28, 2009.
Defending champions in the singles were Andy Roddick in the men and Jelena Dementjewa in the women. In the men's doubles, the defending champions were the pairing Mahesh Bhupathi and Mark Knowles , in the women's doubles, the pairing Cara Black and Liezel Huber .
