The WTA women's tournament took place from February 20 to 25, 2012, the ATP men's tournament from February 27 to March 3, 2012.

Men's tournament

In the men's singles, Roger Federer won the title ahead of Andy Murray . Mahesh Bhupathi and Rohan Bopanna won the double competition in fourth place ahead of Mariusz Fyrstenberg and Marcin Matkowski .

Ladies tournament

Qualification: Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships 2012 / Women / Qualification

The individual competition was won by Agnieszka Radwańska , who was fifth, in two sets ahead of Julia Görges . In doubles, defending champion Liezel Huber managed to win again together with Lisa Raymond against the pairing of Sania Mirza and Jelena Wesnina .
