The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships 2011 were a tennis tournament of the WTA Tour 2011 for women and a tennis tournament of the ATP World Tour 2011 for men in Dubai . The WTA women's tournament took place from February 14th to 20th, 2011, the ATP men's tournament from February 21st to 26th, 2011.
Defending champion in the singles was Novak Đoković in the men and Venus Williams in the women. While Đoković was able to successfully defend his title, Williams did not take part in the tournament. In the men's doubles, the defending champions were the pairing Simon Aspelin and Paul Hanley , in the women's doubles, the pairing Nuria Llagostera Vives and María José Martínez Sánchez .
