The 2013 Monterrey Open was a hard court tennis tournament for women in Monterrey . As a tournament in the International category, it was part of the 2013 WTA Tour . The tournament took place from March 30th to April 7th, 2013, at the same time in Charleston (South Carolina) the Family Circle Cup took place, which was part of the premier category.

Defending champion in singles was Tímea Babos , in doubles the duo Sara Errani / Roberta Vinci did not defend the title this year; Anastassija Pawljutschenkowa won in the singles and the top seeded pairing Tímea Babos / Kimiko Date Krumm in doubles .

Qualification for the Monterrey Open 2013 took place from March 30th to March 31st, 2013. Eight qualifying places that entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament were played out.
