Adriana Pérez (born November 20, 1992 in Anzoátegui ) is a former Venezuelan tennis player .

Career

Pérez started tennis at the age of eight and mainly played ITF tournaments on the ITF Women's Circuit . She won seven ITF singles and nine doubles titles during her career.

Pérez played her first professional tournament in October 2008 and was listed in the top 700 for the first time at the end of October 2010 after her victories in Caracas and Bogotá . She played her first tournament on the WTA Tour at the Copa BBVA Colsanitas 2012 , where she lost 6: 7 4 and 0: 6 against Marie-Ève ​​Pelletier in the first round of qualification . At the Sony Swedish Open , her second WTA tournament in 2012, she lost both in the singles in the qualification against Anastasia Grymalska with 6: 4, 4: 6 and 1: 6 in the first round as well as together with Grymalska in the doubles against Sandra Klemenschits and Tatjana Maria .
