The 2013 BNP Paribas Katowice Open was an indoor clay tennis tournament for women in Katowice , Poland . As a tournament in the international category, it was part of the 2013 WTA Tour for the first time . The tournament took place from April 6-14, 2013.

The winner in the individual was the second seeded Italian Roberta Vinci with her 7: 6 2 , 6: 1 final victory over the top seeded Czech Petra Kvitová . In doubles the unseeded Spanish pairing Lara Arruabarrena Vecino / Lourdes Domínguez Lino won 6: 4, 7: 5 over the also unseeded Raluca Olaru / Valerija Solowjowa .
