Ayaka Okuno ( Japanese 奥 野 彩 加 , Okuno Ayaka ; born June 21, 1995 in Osaka Prefecture ) is a Japanese tennis player .

Career

Ayaka Okuno, who started tennis at the age of six , prefers hard courts. So far, she has won two singles and 16 doubles titles at the ITF Women's Circuit . She played her first professional tournament in August 2011 in Saitama .

On the WTA Tour , she played her first game in qualifying for the HP Japan Women's Open Tennis 2013 , where she started with a wildcard in the individual competition. She failed in the first qualifying round to Luksika Kumkhum .

She achieved her greatest successes to date in November 2015 and February 2016. At the Ando Securities Open , endowed with US $ 100,000 , she reached the quarter-finals, in which she was defeated by Hsieh Su-wei . In February 2016 she reached the Taiwan Open 2016 as a qualifier for the first time in the main draw of a WTA tournament, where she also lost to Hsieh Su-wei in the first round.
