Kaitlyn Christian (born January 13, 1992 ) is an American tennis player .

Career

Kaitlyn Christian plays primarily in ITF tournaments, where she has won one singles and 12 doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit .

As a college player , Christian failed at the NCAA Division I Tennis Championships 2012 with her partner Sabrina Santamaria as fourth seed in the first round. A year later, at the 2013 NCAA Division I Tennis Championships , the two won the doubles title.

At the US Open 2013 she and her partner Dennis Novikov received a wildcard for the mixed competition , where the two failed in the first round against Andrea Hlaváčková and Max Mirny with 1: 6 and 1: 6.

With her doubles partner Sabrina Santamaria, with whom Santamaria has been playing doubles since the U14 division, she received wild cards for the Odlum Brown Vanopen 2015 endowed with US $ 100,000 , the 2015 Carlsbad Classic 2015 , a tournament of the WTA Challenger Series and also for the US Open 2015 . There they had to compete in the first round against the later title winners Martina Hingis and Sania Mirza and lost the match with 1: 6 and 2: 6.
