Fabiola Zuluaga (born January 7, 1979 in Cúcuta ) is a former Colombian tennis player .

Career

Zuluaga came to tennis through her mother at the age of seven and became a member of the Colsantas tennis team . The baseline player's preferred terrain was the clay court. As a junior she won all tournaments of the COSAT Circuit Under 14 and four tournaments of the Europa Circuit Under 14 .

In her career she won five singles titles on the WTA Tour ; She celebrated four of these successes at the domestic WTA tournament in Bogotá . There were also nine singles and two doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit . In 2004 she was in the semi-finals of the individual competition at the Australian Open ; it was her best result in a Grand Slam tournament .

For the Colombian Fed Cup team , she completed a total of 58 games between 1994 and 2003, of which she was able to win 42. At the US Open 2005 , she declared her professional career over.

On December 11, 2004, Fabiola Zuluaga married the journalist Julian Garcia.
