The ASB Classic 2003 was a WTA hard court tennis tournament for women in Auckland . It was part of the 2003 WTA Tour as a Tier IV category tournament . The tournament took place from December 30, 2002 to January 4, 2003.

In the singles Eleni Daniilidou won against Cho Yoon-jeong 6: 4, 4: 6 and 7: 6 2 . In doubles the pairing Teryn Ashley / Abigail Spears won 6: 2, 2: 6 and 6: 0 against Cara Black / Jelena Lichowzewa .

qualification

The qualification for the ASB Classic 2003 took place from December 28th to 30th, 2002. Four qualifying places for the singles and one qualification place for the doubles were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
