Heineken Open 2007

The Heineken Open 2007 was a tennis tournament that took place from January 8-13, 2007 in Auckland , New Zealand . The individual competition was won by number three seeded David Ferrer , who succeeded Jarkko Nieminen and became the first Spanish tournament winner. South African Jeff Coetzee and Dutch Rogier Wassen won doubles . Prize money of US $ 436,000 was played out and held in the second week of the 2007 ATP Tour . The ATP supervisor was Ed Hardisty.

With Nieminen and the Slovak Dominik Hrbatý , two former title holders of the tournament were at the start. Hrbatý has already won twice.
