Daniel King-Turner (born May 15, 1984 in Nelson ) is a former New Zealand tennis player .

Career

Daniel King-Turner played mainly on the ATP Challenger Tour and the ITF Future Tour . He celebrated eight single and ten double victories on the Future Tour. On the Challenger Tour he won the doubles tournaments in Rimouski and Brisbane in 2007. On June 23, 2008, he broke through the top 200 in doubles in the world for the first time and his highest ranking was 182nd in September 2008.

He made his debut on the ATP World Tour in January 2006 at the Heineken Open in Auckland, where he received a wildcard in the individual competition and competed against Florian Mayer in the first round of the main draw. He lost the game in straight sets 2: 6, 2: 6. For the first time in a double competition, he also appeared at the Heineken Open in 2004 on the side of Matt Prentice . They lost their first round game 3: 6 and 4: 6 against Mark Nielsen and Simon Rea .
