Lukáš Dlouhý (born April 9, 1983 in Písek , then Czechoslovakia ) is a former Czech tennis player .
Career
The doubles specialist was able to celebrate ten tournament successes in doubles on the ATP Tour and reach a final 16 more times. In 2007 he and his fellow countryman Pavel Vízner made it into the double finals of the French Open and the US Open . In both Grand Slam tournaments, however, they lost in the final. From 2008 Dlouhý played at the side of Leander Paes and was able to celebrate their first joint title win with him in the same year. In 2009 he won with Paes at both the US Open and the French Open , which were his greatest successes. In 2010, the two won the Masters in Miami .
His highest single place in the world rankings reached Dlouhý with rank 73 in April 2006. In doubles he was able to advance to 5th place in November 2007.
Dlouhý played since 2006 for the Czech Davis Cup team , in which he was used in nine matches and achieved a score of 6: 6.
