The Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2019 was a tennis tournament that took place in Doha from December 31, 2018 to January 5, 2019 . It was part of the ATP Tour 2019 and was played outdoors on hard courts. In the same week the Brisbane International was played in Brisbane and the Tata Maharashtra Open in Pune , which, like the Qatar ExxonMobil Open, belonged to the ATP World Tour 250 category .

Last year's individual winner was Gaël Monfils . Oliver Marach and Mate Pavić won the last event in doubles .

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs.

qualification

The qualification took place on December 29th and 30th, 2019. Four qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament. There was also a lucky loser.
