The Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2018 was a tennis tournament that took place in Doha from January 1st to 6th, 2018 . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2018 and was played outdoors on hard courts. In the same week the Brisbane International was played in Brisbane and the Tata Maharashtra Open in Pune , which, like the Qatar ExxonMobil Open, belonged to the ATP World Tour 250 category .

Last year's winner in singles was Novak Đoković . Jérémy Chardy and Fabrice Martin won the last event in doubles .

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs.

qualification

The qualification took place on December 30th and December 31st, 2018. Four qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
