The Ecuador Open 2018 was a tennis tournament that took place in Quito from February 6th to 12th . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2018 and was played outdoors on sand. In the same week the Open Sud de France was played in Montpellier and the Diema Xtra Sofia Open in Sofia . Like the Ecuador Open, both were part of the ATP World Tour 250 category .

Víctor Estrella won the first three editions of the tournament. Last year, James Cerretani and Philipp Oswald won doubles .

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 28 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The total prize pool was $ 501,345; total financial liabilities were $ 561,345.

The qualification took place from February 3rd to 4th, 2018. Four qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament. There was also a lucky loser.
