Career

Escobedo mainly plays on the Future Tour , where he has made two five finals so far. In 2016 he came to his first final at a Challenger tournament , in which he lost to Gonzalo Lama 2: 6, 2: 6. At the Ricoh Open he made his debut on the ATP World Tour after qualifying . In the first round he met Aljaž Bedene and lost 6: 7, 2: 6. In July 2016, he won his first tournament on the Challenger Tour in Lexington . With another tournament victory at the Challenger in Monterrey , he advanced to 129th in the world rankings .
