Peter Polansky (born June 15, 1988 in North York , Ontario ) is a Canadian tennis player .
Career
Peter Polansky mainly plays on the ATP Challenger Tour and the ITF Future Tour .
So far, he has celebrated ten single and two double victories on the ITF Future Tour . On the ATP Challenger Tour he has won once in singles and seven times in doubles, including twice in Granby and once each in Lexington and Burnie .
So far, he has not had any major successes on the ATP World Tour . He has been taking part in tournaments of the highest category since 2006, but has never made it through the second round. His best results are reaching the second round at the 2010 US Open and 2009 Canada Masters . He achieved his best individual placement on June 25, 2018 with position 110 in the tennis world rankings .
He played for the Canadian Davis Cup team for the first time in 2007 and has a record of 8: 6.

In 2018, Polansky managed the feat of losing the last round of qualification at all four Grand Slam tournaments and still - due to withdrawals or injuries to other players - moving into the main field as a lucky loser . No tennis player has achieved this before him.
