James McGee (born June 10, 1987 in Dublin ) is an Irish tennis player .

Career

James McGee mainly plays on the ATP Challenger Tour and the ITF Future Tour . On the Future Tour, he won several tournaments in both singles and doubles. On the Challenger Tour, he won his first tournament in Cary as a qualifier in 2016 .

At the US Open 2014 he qualified for the first time for the main field of the individual competition in a Grand Slam tournament .

James McGee has played for the Irish Davis Cup team since 2009 .

He currently no longer plays as a professional on the tour, but focuses on coaching.
