Jeffrey John Wolf (born December 21, 1998 in Cincinnati , Ohio ) is an American tennis player .

Career

Jeffrey John Wolf played tournaments on the Junior Tour from 2015. There he has won two tournaments so far and achieved a combined top placement of 18th place in May 2016. His best result in a Junior Grand Slam tournament was a round of 16 at the US Open 2016 , where he lost in three sets to Patrick Kypson . In doubles, he also reached the quarter-finals at the French Open in the same year.

Wolf played on the professional tour for the first time in 2016 . In addition to his participation in the Challenger in Columbus , Wolf also made his first appearance on the ATP World Tour when he played in the US Open doubles alongside John McNally in the first round against Chris Guccione and André Sá 4-6, 4 : 6 lost. In January 2019 he won his first title on the Challenger Tour. In Columbus he played his way into the final with a wildcard and defeated the Dane Mikael Torpegaard in three sets . With this success he made it into the top 300 of the world rankings .
